Canada’s Walk of Fame honoured 2019 Inductee Dr. James Naismith, inventor of basketball, with a special Hometown Stars event in his hometown of Almonte. The free public celebration featured a plaque unveiling, guest speakers, and musical performances during Mississippi Mills’ Bicentennial and the Naismith 3×3 Basketball Tournament.
