Canada’s Walk of Fame honoured 2021 Inductees Frederick Banting, Charles Best, James Collip, and John Macleod with a special Hometown Stars event at Banting House. The free public celebration featured a commemorative plaque unveiling, musical performances by Jordan Hart and the Frederick Banting Secondary School Chamber Choir, and community reflections on the discovery of insulin. Presented by Scotiabank in partnership with Cineplex, the event coincided with Diabetes Canada’s World Diabetes Day.
