The Parachute Club’s Lead singer, Lorraine Segato, surprised guests when she joined a specially curated Canada’s Walk of Fame gospel choir during their performance of “Rise Up.” This brought the audience to their feet.
On Thursday, September 28, 2023, Canada’s Walk of Fame honoured 13 legendary rock acts from the 1970s and 1980s in a sold-out celebration at Toronto’s Massey Hall. The first-ever mega induction ceremony, dubbed “Canada’s Rock of Fame,” welcomed April Wine, Chilliwack, Glass Tiger, Lee Aaron, Lighthouse, Loverboy, Max Webster, Michel Pagliaro, Platinum Blonde, Prism, Rough Trade, The Parachute Club, and Trooper as official Inductees.
The event was presented by Canada’s Walk of Fame in partnership with Anthem Entertainment, Live Nation Canada, and the Government of Ontario.
