2014 Emerging Artist Music Mentorship Program
Following the success of 2013's inaugural program, Canada’s Walk of Fame, in partnership with National Premier Partner RBC launched the second year of the Emerging Artist Music Mentorship Program supported by RBC in 2014 as part of Canada’s Walk of Fame Emerging Artists Programs. Valued at more than $100,000, the initiative aims to support the next generation of gifted Canadian musicians.
Aspiring young musicians were asked to submit a 60 sec. musical audio or video performance for their chance to win the Grand Prize of $25,000 cash, recording time, performance opportunities and much more.
The winners of the 2014 Emerging Artist Music Mentorship Program supported by RBC were:
Grand Prize Winner: NEFE, Guelph, ON
Second Prize Winner: Angelique Francis, Kanata, ON
Finalist: Alessandra Longshaw, Brampton, ON
Finalist: The Command Sisters, Spruce Grove, AB
Finalist: Jane Baker, Grimsby, ON

She is currently working with Metalworks studio to record tracks for her upcoming EP.
