On June 21, 2024, Canada’s Walk of Fame continued its 25th anniversary celebrations by unveiling a commemorative plaque at the University of Toronto, honouring the groundbreaking insulin discovery by 2021 Inductees Banting, Best, Collip, and Macleod. The event, held in partnership with Sanofi Canada, took place on the historic campus where this Nobel Prize-winning scientific breakthrough was achieved over 100 years ago.
