On August 6, 2019, Canada’s Walk of Fame honoured astronaut Col. Chris Hadfield with a special Hometown Stars event at Bayshore Park in Sarnia, Ontario. The free public celebration featured a commemorative plaque unveiling, special guests, and musical performances, recognizing Hadfield’s extraordinary contributions to space exploration and Canadian pride. Presented by Cineplex in partnership with the City of Sarnia, Bluewater Power, and RBC, the event brought together community members and supporters.
