On April 25, 2022, Canada’s Walk of Fame celebrated Bruce Cockburn, 2021 Inductee and acclaimed musician, with a special Hometown Stars event at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa. The free public celebration featured a commemorative plaque unveiling, guest speakers, and a performance by First Nations singer-songwriter Mary Bryton. Presented by Cineplex, the event honoured Cockburn’s enduring contributions to Canadian music and philanthropy.
