The Canada’s Walk of Fame 2024 Celebration Event took place on Wednesday, November 20, at Toronto’s Liberty Grand, presented by Canada’s Walk of Fame, Liberty Entertainment Group, and Seeing Red, and produced by Scratch Experience. The evening featured opening remarks by board members Nick Di Donato, Dr. Ruby Dhalla, and Bryan Porter; a tribute performance by Mark Masri; and presentations including the 2024 Future Storytellers (presented by NBCUniversal and Seeing Red), the induction of Dr. Frank J. Hayden, and the Hometown Stars program (presented by Scotiabank in partnership with Cineplex).
Highlights included remarks from Ministers Carla Qualtrough and Stan Cho, a performance by RBC Emerging Musician Program winner Gabriel Fredette, and honour presentations to William Prince (Allan Slaight Music Impact Honour), Stephanie Quon (Community Hero Honour), and Danielle Campo (National Hero Honour), with a special segment from 2007 Inductee Rick Hansen. The evening concluded with the announcement of the 2025 Inductees, introduced by CEO Jeffrey Latimer.
