The seventh annual Canada’s Walk of Fame Festival took place from September 20 to 29, 2016, with a free public celebration at Yonge-Dundas Square from September 23 to 25. Featuring over 45 Canadian acts, including headliners Black Mountain, Classified, Cold Specks, Great Lake Swimmers, and Matt Dusk with Florence K, the festival showcased live music, film and television screenings, sports activations, book readings, and dance performances.
Supported by national sponsors Cineplex Entertainment, NBCUniversal, Slaight Communications, and Air Canada, the festival celebrated Canadian talent across multiple disciplines.
