On October 18, 2014, Canada’s Walk of Fame celebrated its 2014 inductees during a star-studded broadcast show hosted by actor-director Jason Priestley. Inductees included Louise Arbour, The Band, Jeff Healey (Cineplex Legends Inductee), Rachel McAdams, Ryan Reynolds, and Hayley Wickenheiser. The Weeknd received the Allan Slaight Music Impact Award, recognizing his international success. The televised special aired nationally on Global on December 19, 2014.
