2006 inductee Paul Shaffer hosted the 2012 Canada’s Walk of Fame Awards Show on September 22, 2012. It honoured inductees Randy Bachman, Phil Hartman (posthumous), Russ Jackson, Sarah McLachlan, Sonia Rodriguez, and Team Canada 1972. The star-studded event celebrated Canadian excellence and aired nationally on Global and Slice on October 14, 2012.
