Moccio to perform new orchestral works from his latest album Elements.

The Tenors to perform songs from their upcoming album Lead with Your Heart.

Previously announced headliners include: Randy Bachman, Sarah McLachlan, K’naan, Jann Arden, Johnny Reid.

(Toronto, Ontario) Tuesday, July 31 – Canada’s Walk of Fame, together with national premier partner RBC® announced today that acclaimed pianist, producer, composer and songwriter, Stephan Moccio, will join the star-studded lineup for the third annual Canada’s Walk of Fame Festival (September 19-23), presented by Shop.ca. The concert takes place on Wednesday, September 19 at 7:30 PM at Koerner Hall, Telus Centre for Performance and Learning, and will feature a 40-piece symphony orchestra along with The Tenors as special guests.

A spectacular evening of great music, voices and melodies in one of Canada’s most impressive concert halls, Moccio will perform some of his most popular songs including Celine Dion’s “A New Day Has Come”, the Olympic theme “I Believe”, and Canada’s Walk of Fame’s “A Song for Canada.” Canada’s multi-platinum vocal group, The Tenors, will perform a special musical set including “Perfect Gift” and “Instrument of Peace” along with songs from their upcoming new album (to be released on October 9).

Today’s announcement brings together some of Canada’s most internationally renowned musical stars for what is a must-attend cultural event. Previously announced headliners include:

  • Multi-platinum guitarist, singer and songwriter Randy Bachman performs on Thursday, September 20 at the Winter Garden Theatre.
  • Eight-time JUNO Award-winning singer and songwriter, Sarah McLachlan, and three-time Juno Award-winning hip hop artist, K’Naan, collaborate for an intimate evening performance at Massey Hall also on Thursday, September 20.
  • Multi-platinum, Juno Award-winning artist, Jann Arden, performs at Massey Hall Saturday, September 22.
  • “One Night Only” with two-time Juno Award winner and eight-time 2012 Canadian Country Music Award nominee, multi-platinum singer and songwriter, Johnny Reid, who takes the stage on Sunday, September 23also at Massey Hall.
  • The five-day Festival of 100% Canadian music and film will feature some of Canada’s most popular performers. Additional Festival programming announcements about the free public events and emerging artists are still to come.
