(Toronto, Ontario) Tuesday, August 12 – Canada’s Walk of Fame, along with National Premier Partner RBC, is excited to announce a star-studded roster of one hundred per cent Canadian talent for the fifth annual Canada’s Walk of Fame Festival, presented by Tim Hortons. Returning to Toronto from September 18-20, the Festival covers three days of music, featuring some of the biggest names in Canadian entertainment, including Burton Cummings and the Band, Dean Brody and Matthew Good and Jay Baruchel.

“Now in its fifth year, Canada’s Walk of Fame Festival continues to showcase the outstanding talent that we have here in Canada,” said Melanie Hurley, Chief Executive Officer of Canada’s Walk of Fame. “Whether fans are entertained by Matthew Good and Jay Baruchel, rocking out with Burton Cummings, or singing along with Dean Brody, this year’s headliners have something for everyone.”

Tickets for Canada’s Walk of Fame Festival begin at $39 and go on sale Thursday, August 14 at 10 AM.

The Festival opens with a bang on Thursday, September 18, with rock ’n’ roll legend Burton Cummings and Band returning to the stage at Massey Hall.

On Friday, September 19, in what will be his first appearance at Canada’s Walk of Fame Festival, Canadian country music sensation Dean Brody will delight fans with his superb ability to tell stories through his sound.

On Saturday, September 20, audiences will be treated to some conversation, music and a little mayhem with the first-ever live show “Not So Private Banter” featuring acclaimed musician Matthew Good and Canadian actor Jay Baruchel. With no topic off the table and free reign to expose each other’s dark humour and wit, plus Matt’s supreme acoustic sound, this will be a show audiences won’t forget.

“Tim Hortons is proud to partner with Canada’s Walk of Fame Festival and help bring these great Canadian artists to the Massey Hall stage,” says Rob Forbes, Senior Director, Marketing, Ontario and National Programs, Tim Hortons. “This three-day Festival will be a wonderful showcase of some of Canada’s most beloved entertainers.”
