Canada’s Walk of Fame, along with Shaw Media, announced today that 17-year-old singer-songwriter and multi-platinum recording artist Shawn Mendes, who is being honoured as this year’s Allan Slaight Honour recipient, will take to the stage for a special performance at Canada’s Walk of Fame 2015. In addition, four-time JUNO Award winner Johnny Reid is scheduled to perform music from his highly anticipated upcoming album, What Love is All About, set for release November 13.

Hosted by Jason Priestley, Canada’s Walk of Fame 2015 will take place on Saturday, November 7 at Toronto’s Sony Centre. Filmed for national broadcast on Global and scheduled to air on Thursday, December 17 at 8 PM ET/PT, the event will honour this year’s Canada’s Walk of Fame Inductees and Allan Slaight Honour recipient, Shawn Mendes.
