5 Questions for Kim

C.H: If you could only perform on
stage, film or television which
would you choose and why?
K.C: I enjoy working in film, television and
theatre but I’d have to say doing a play
for a live audience is for me the most
fulfilling.
C.H: You’ve authored several
books, if someone was to craft
your biography, what would it be
titled?
K.C: ‘Earl Grey and Blue Flowers’
or ‘Yesterday’s Chip Paper.’
C.H: In 2005, you made your West End
stage debut in London performing in
Sir Peter Hall’s acclaimed revival
of Brian Clark’s Who’s Life is it
Anyway? How do you compare the
rush of stage acting to the rush of
getting on stage and collecting a
Golden Globe or two Screen Actors
Guild awards?
K.C: Films are directors
medium. TV are the writers and
producers. Theatre is an actor’s.
C.H: You are the founder of Fertile
Ground productions which produced
an HBO documentary based on
your book Sexual Intelligence.
How do you compare your role
on the other side of the lens to
being in front of it?
K.C: I’m grateful I had the opportunity to
find out first hand that producing is not
always as easy as it sometime looks.
C.H: Your accomplishments go far beyond
the small screen—what does Kim
Cattrall still desire to do? What
does Kim Cattrall still need to add
to her resume?
K.C: There are a handful of great classical roles in
the theatre for a woman my age. I plan on tackling
as many as I can.
