WHAT: In honour of this year’s inductees, Team Canada 1972, Canada’s Walk of Fame Festival presented by SHOP.CA, adds hockey-themed activities to the free programming at Nathan Phillips Square.
Joining this year’s Festival are members of the Toronto Maple Leafs Hockey Development Team and past members of the Canadian Women’s Olympic Hockey Team, who will be hosting instructional play sessions on synthetic ice. The Toronto Maple Leaf Hockey Club will also open the ‘Leafs Mobile Fan Zone’ — an exact Leafs dressing room replica that allows fans to feel like they’ve been added to the team roster.
