Canada’s Walk of Fame announced today that the National Music Centre, a Calgary-based facility projected to open in 2014, will receive the proceeds from Canada’s Walk of Fame Inductee Charity Ball presented by RBC.  Honouring recent inductees Ryan Reynolds, Dr. Roberta Bondar, Burton Cummings, Daniel Nestor, Sandra Oh, Russell Peters and Mordecai Richler, the Ball will take place on Saturday, October 1 at Toronto’s Sheraton Centre Hotel, immediately following the Canada’s Walk of Fame Awards at the Elgin Theatre.
