There has been something special about Pamela Anderson since the day she was born. She came into the world at 4:08 am as the first baby born on July 1st, 1967 and since that was the 100th anniversary of Canada, Anderson was dubbed the Centennial Baby. "That's where it all started" says Anderson.

In 1988, Pamela moved to Vancouver where she worked as a fitness instructor. It was the summer of 1989 while attending a BC Lions football game that Anderson was spotted by a TV cameraman wearing a Labatt’s t-shirt. In seconds she found herself up on the big screen and recipient of massive applause from the spectators. It wasn’t long before Anderson was playing a major role in the Labatt’s advertising campaign that year.

The campaign was so popular that other commercials and advertising assignments for Anderson soon followed. Due to the recognition from these commercials, she was soon approached to do her first cover for Playboy Magazine. Pamela has since gone on to grace the cover again an astounding five times, more than any other woman in the magazine's history.

With the success and recognition she garnered from Playboy, Anderson soon moved to Los Angeles where she spent two seasons in the top-ten ABC Television hit series "Home Improvement" (1991) as Lisa, the Tool Time Girl. It was on "Home Improvement" that she captured the attention and affection of viewing audiences around the world. At the same time, Anderson was cast as C.J. Parker on the internationally successful series "Baywatch" (1989), but because of the impossible scheduling requirements of working on two hit shows, she eventually left "Home Improvement" and remained full-time on "Baywatch".

While working on the set of Baywatch, Anderson made the transition into the feature film arena, appearing in a number of productions including "The Taking of Beverly Hills", (1992), "Raw Justice" (1994) and the action comedy “Barb Wire” (1996). In addition, Anderson was featured in the CBS movie-of-the-week, “Come Die with Me: A Mickey Spillane's Mike Hammer Mystery” (1994).

After leaving Baywatch, Anderson starred in and produced her hit TV show "V.I.P." (1998), which ran for four seasons until 2002. By the fall of 2003 the new network Spike TV launched her latest action series, a cartoon developed by Stan Lee called quot;Stripperella" (2003). In 2005, Anderson starred in the first season the FOX comedy show "Stacked.”

Pamela Anderson is an active participant in various organizations, including PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals).
