2013 Inductee Charity Ball
Over 1,000 guests will attend the Canada’s Walk of Fame 2013 Inductee Charity Ball. The décor will set the ambience for an evening of celebration and entertainment. In addition to having all Inductees in attendance, the Ball is also host to a number of notable celebrities, making for a distinct and unforgettable evening.
The Inductee Charity Ball will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2013, at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel. Guests will enjoy a pre-dinner reception and participate in the silent auction featuring a selection of spectacular items including star plaques signed by the 2013 Inductees. The event features a delicious four-course meal and an exciting live auction with exclusive packages and experiences. Surprise performances by renowned musical artists make this event a distinctly Canadian and unforgettable evening.
Proceeds from the Inductee Charity Ball will benefit the Canada’s Walk of Fame Emerging Artists Program. This program draws on the organization’s extensive assets and partnerships in an effort to engage, develop, inspire, and mentor gifted young Canadians to follow in the footsteps of our Inductees. It provides opportunities for emerging talent to perform as part of the Canada’s Walk of Fame Festival and other events, and will grant scholarships to assist young artists as they establish their careers.
