2013 Inductee Charity Ball

2013 Inductee Charity Ball

Over 1,000 guests attended the Canada’s Walk of Fame 2013 Inductee Charity Ball, celebrating the organization’s 15th Anniversary. In addition to having all Inductees in attendance, the Ball is also played host to a number of notable celebrities, making for a distinct and unforgettable evening.

The Inductee Charity Ball was held on Saturday, September 21, 2013, at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel. Guests enjoyed a pre-dinner reception and participated in a silent auction that featured a selection of spectacular items including star plaques signed by the 2013 Inductees. The surprise performances by renowned musical artists including Cody Karey, Jacob Hoggard, 54-40 and The Tenors made this event a distinctly Canadian and unforgettable evening.

Proceeds from the Inductee Charity Ball will benefit the Canada’s Walk of Fame Emerging Artists Program. This program draws on the organization’s extensive assets and partnerships in an effort to engage, develop, inspire, and mentor gifted young Canadians to follow in the footsteps of our Inductees. It provides opportunities for emerging talent to perform as part of the Canada’s Walk of Fame Festival and other events, and will grant scholarships to assist young artists as they establish their careers.
