Canada is an amazing country. We have more cultural achievements on a global stage per capita than any other country in the world, yet we remain relatively young, with our best years still to come.
In music, television, sports, the literary, visual and performing arts, as well as science and innovation, Canadians are at the forefront. Since 1998, Canada’s Walk of Fame has recognized and honoured 151 internationally celebrated individuals in these fields, who also happen to be Canadian.
Mike Myers, Alice Cooper and Martin Short are among the superstar celebrities taking centre stage at the 2013 Canada’s Walk of Fame Awards to pay tribute to this year's inductees:
Craig and Marc Kielburger
Oscar Peterson (Cineplex Legends Award Recipient)
Plus Carly Rae Jepsen (Allan Slaight Award Recipient)
The star-studded, not to be missed 2013 television event celebrating this year's inductees and the 15th Anniversary of Canada's Walk of Fame, will air on Global on Wednesday, December 18 at 8pm (ET/PT).
